1. Undergraduate Research Opportunity: AAV Production and Optimization
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an enthusiastic undergraduate student who is interested in conducting an independent research project focused on AAVs. The project will aim to optimize our AAV production pipeline and enhance the production yield. This position will offer intensive training in core research techniques, including cell culture, molecular biology, and AAV vector design and production, along with opportunities to develop scientific communication skills under the direct mentorship of a graduate student. Research credits can be provided upon discussion.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year student in bioengineering or a related major.
- Motivated to learn technical wet lab skills and conduct independent research. (*prior training not necessary, but helpful*)
- Able to commit 1 year to the project.
- Have a flexible schedule.
